His work has been recognized with Gold Medals from the New York Festivals, Golden Reels from the International Television Association, Gold Awards from the National Health Information Awards and Accolade Awards from the Accolade Global Film Competition.
Prior to this work, Tom Williams was a Senior Vice President at Campbell Mithun Esty Advertising and Creative Director of CME Video & Film, the agency's non-broadcast production facility. In 1996, he started INTJ to pursue his passion for creating effective, encouraging, engaging programs that help physicians and nurses teach their patients how to improve their health and get the best outcomes from their health care.
At the Playwrights’ Center, he has been a Core Member, Jerome Fellow, chair of the Artistic Committee, board member and instructor. His plays have been produced at the Denver Center Theatre Company, the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, and elsewhere.
